The MESA Training Center is located in Phoenix, Arizona, approximately 10 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and about 8 minutes from our preferred hotel.

Where do I park?
Parking for attendees is available in the north lot of the MESA Training Center. Please park in marked spaces only.
Are there on-site rules I should know about?
Yes. All attendees are expected to follow MTC building rules and regulations. Full details are available in the MTC Class Catalog.
What are the class hours?
Most classes begin at 7:00 AM, break for lunch at 11:00 AM, and conclude by 3:30 PM.
Exceptions: Overhauls and Chiller Fundamentals 1 & 2 end at 12:00 PM on the final day only.
Is full-day attendance required?
Yes. Full attendance is required each day to receive credit and a certificate of completion.

How do I register for a class?
Select the Register Here option on the website and complete a registration form for each class.
Does registering guarantee a seat?
No. Registration does not guarantee placement. Attendees are selected on a firstcome, firstserved basis based on class capacity.
When will I receive confirmation?
Confirmation is typically sent within three (3) business days.
What if the class is full?
You may be added to a waitlist or placed on a priority list for the next available session.
What is included in tuition?
Tuition covers classroom and lab instruction, equipment, tools, PPE (excluding safety boots), technical materials, certificate, daily lunch, beverages, and snacks.
What expenses are not included?
Airfare, hotel accommodations, breakfast, dinner, and transportation are not included.
When is payment due and how can I pay?
Billing occurs upon registration confirmation. Payment is due no later than 30 days prior to the start date of the class. Accepted payment methods include credit card, purchase order, or check.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the class start date to receive a full refund. Late cancellations may be reviewed case by case for alternative class placement.
Who is responsible for booking travel and lodging?
All travel, hotel, and transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the attendee and their operating company.
Which airport should I use?
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is recommended. Mesa Gateway Airport is an alternative option.
When should I arrive and depart?
Plan to arrive no later than one day before class begins and depart no earlier than four hours after the final class session.
What hotel is recommended?
MTC partners with Drury Plaza Hotel Phoenix Tempe, offering discounted rates.
Transportation options?
Uber, Lyft, Waymo, and rental cars are recommended.
Travel Reminder: TSA requires REAL ID compliant identification for domestic flights.
Is lunch provided?
Yes. Lunch is provided daily during class.
Are breakfast and dinner included?
Breakfast and dinner are not provided by MTC but are available at the Drury Plaza Hotel.
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?
Dietary needs should be submitted during class confirmation. Please indicate whether the request is an allergy, sensitivity, or preference.
What is the dress code?
Work appropriate clothing is required. Shorts, tank tops, and open toed shoes are not permitted.
Are safety boots required?
Yes. Safety boots are required for all hands on classes.
What PPE is provided?
MTC provides safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats as required.
Do I need a laptop or tablet?
Bringing a laptop or tablet is encouraged but not required unless specified by the instructor.
How do I access WiFi and class materials?
WiFi access is granted using the email provided at registration. Digital materials are shared via a OneDrive link valid for 7 days.
What safety rules apply in the lab?
What is the “See Something, Say Something” policy?
Safety is a shared responsibility. Attendees are expected to stop work and report unsafe conditions immediately.
What behavior is expected?
Professional, respectful conduct is required at all times.
Are phones and devices allowed?
Yes, but attendees are encouraged to silence devices and limit usage during instruction.
What behavior may result in removal?
Disrespectful, aggressive, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal and possible permanent exclusion.
Are photos or videos allowed?
Photography and video recording are prohibited without prior approval. Training materials are proprietary.
Are exams required?
Yes. All classes include a written exam and hands on evaluation.
Are CEUs offered?
Upon HVAC Excellence accreditation, most classes will offer CEUs.
What score is required?
A minimum score of 70% is required to earn CEUs. One CEU equals 10 contact hours.
Does attending class mean I consent to photos or video?
Yes. Attendance constitutes consent for approved marketing use. Please contact us with concerns.
