Our Evolution
The MESA Training Center was built to elevate the entire mechanical service industry—and today, it stands as one of the most advanced technician training facilities in the country. What began as a single classroom and modest lab has grown into an 11,000 square foot, state of the art training hub designed to prepare technicians for every aspect of the modern mechanical trades.
Our expanded facility now delivers immersive, hands on education across the full spectrum of mechanical service disciplines, including HVACR systems, applied equipment and chillers, boilers, refrigeration, controls and automation, and retrofit technologies. With 6,000 square feet of dedicated lab space, technicians train on real equipment, real systems, and real world scenarios—building the confidence and expertise needed to excel in the field.
The MESA Training Center includes:

- Four modern classrooms built for interactive learning
- Capacity to train up to 100 students at once
As we’ve grown, so has our impact. Our enhanced footprint allows us to offer a broader range of courses, welcome more technicians than ever before, and strengthen partnerships across the mechanical service industry. Whether developing new talent or upskilling experienced professionals, the MESA Training Center delivers the knowledge, skills, and hands on experience that drive technician success—and industry excellence.
Milestones & Growth
Over the years, we’ve been able to evolve and adapt our training scope. Some of our key milestones include:
- 2018: Initial launch of Applied/Industrial classes in our 2,200-square-foot facility and 900-square-foot lab
- 2019: Inclusion of OEM specific classes
- 2022: Launch of Unitary/Commercial HVAC classes
- 2023: Launch of Boiler classes
- 2024: Opening of our new 11,000-square-foot facility & Launch of Automation classes
- 2025: Established a formal relationship with the United Association (UA) and Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) & Welcomed our first international student
Looking Toward the Future
The MESA Training Center is helping shape the future of the mechanical service industry. With over 1,650 technicians trained, we’re building stronger skills, deeper expertise, and greater confidence across the workforce—and we’re just getting started.
We are expanding our programs to include Retrofit training, customer education, and professional development courses that support both technical growth and leadership skills. Our aim is to meet learners at every stage, from mastering new technologies to advancing communication and business capabilities.
To strengthen the reach and credibility of our training, we are actively pursuing HVAC Excellence accreditation for 2026. We’re also investing in our hands on lab to increase live training capabilities, add more equipment, and simulate a wider range of real world service scenarios across all major mechanical disciplines.
Looking ahead, our vision includes offering up to 150 classes per year, providing broader access, deeper specialization, and more opportunities for technicians, contractors, and customers across the industry.
Our goal: Deliver the most relevant, high value, hands on training experience in the industry—today and for the future.
